01 / THE FOUNDATION
SERVER RULES
These rules apply to every player, character, and interaction across our community.

Stay in character.
Keep in-character and out-of-character interactions separate. Do not use outside knowledge, Discord messages, streams, or staff information in roleplay.
NO METAGAMING03
Value your life.
Act as though your character’s life matters. Do not take unrealistic risks, ignore weapons, or bait dangerous situations without believable roleplay.

Let scenes breathe.
Give every scene time to develop. Do not force outcomes, rush players, combat-log, or leave an active roleplay situation without staff approval.
NO POWERGAMING05
Keep it fair.
Exploits, cheats, macros, texture modifications that grant an advantage, and abusing game mechanics will result in immediate action.
NO EXPLOITING06
Follow staff direction.
Staff decisions must be respected in the moment. If you disagree, open a ticket after the scene; never argue or disrupt roleplay in-game.

HOW WE PLAY
01ROLEPLAY QUALITY+
Create scenes, not wins. Your character should have believable motives, limits, and consequences. You may not force another player’s actions or injuries without giving them room to respond.
02CRIMINAL ACTIVITY+
Criminal roleplay must be meaningful and proportionate. No random violence, repeated targeting, unrealistic robberies, or using a criminal character solely to ruin others’ experience.
03NEW LIFE RULE+
After your character is declared dead or respawns from a major incident, do not return to the same scene or seek revenge. Your character does not remember the immediate events that led to it.
04POLICE & EMS+
Respect emergency-service roleplay. Do not bait first responders, interfere with active scenes, impersonate services, or use a service role for personal advantage.
05VOICE & IDENTITY+
Use clear, appropriate voice communication. Voice changers are allowed only when they remain understandable and do not imitate another player or evade identification rules.

No hate or harassment
Slurs, hateful content, sexual harassment, threats, and discrimination result in removal.

No real-world trading
Do not sell, buy, or trade in-game assets, accounts, or services for real money.

Never share another person’s private information, images, location, or conversations.

Be 16+ to play
YBN Yonkers is a 16+ community. Mature themes are never an excuse for inappropriate conduct.

Staff may issue warnings, mutes, kicks, character wipes, temporary bans, or permanent bans based on context and severity. Serious violations may skip every prior step.
